Precessionary Caterpillars |

The oak processionary caterpillar causes more and more trouble each year. These caterpillars are covered with tens of thousands hairs which are hazardous to humans. Even if the oak processionary caterpillar is not handled, the hairs easily break off and become airborne.
Therefore controlling the oak processionary caterpillar is a dangerous job, at least until recently when HOAF Infrared Technology introduced two solutions:
Using the HOAF EPRZ®, the oak processionary caterpillars are easily vacuumed and stored. The especially developed 'caterpillar vacuum cleaner' is fitted with special air filters, which prevends the hazardous hairs from spreading through the air.
Just like the HOAF EPRZ®, the HOAF parasiteHIT® vacuums the oak processionary caterpillars. The caterpillars are being burnt inside the HOAF parasiteHIT®, which prevents the hairs from spreading though the air. The remains can be handled with as ordinary waste. Thanks to the trailer construction, the HOAF parasiteHIT® can easily be transported to the infested locations.
